We celebrated July 4th with our neighbors. James and I visited the State Farmers Market earlier in the day for some good ol' NC produce. James got to play with his 1st watermelon and then he got an even bigger surprise when he got to eat it. Boy, it was yummy too.

Then, James played in the box for a while so we could finish up in the kitchen.
All that playing really takes a toll. We walked to see the fireworks, but James slept through them. When we got home he was able to see a few that our neighbors were lighting up. He was so excited and was trying so hard to tell us about it. Once he starts talking he'll talk our ears off.
