James got some new sunglasses and he wanted to show them off. No, he doesn't wear his sunglasses at night.James visited my office before his 6 month checkup. Here he is with Mrs. Patrice after he took over her chair.

And here he's being entertained with a camera while we're waiting on the doc to come check him out. He weighed in at 16 lbs 10 oz and was 27 inches long. More interesting...he's 25 - 50% for his weight; 50% for his height; and 95 - 97% for his head size! Yowza. He's built like his daddy.

James continues to amaze us every day. This week he's been scooting himself on his belly with his toes. That means, not only will he be crawling before we know it, but that he also has freakishly strong toes like his daddy. He's got a great personality, and I love to hear him laugh. Tonight we were putting away his laundry and he was sitting in his crib. The next thing we know, he's trying to pull himself up in his bed. I cannot believe how fast he changes. It seems like we just brought him home from the hospital. Now he's sitting up alone, eating solid foods, and trying to crawl. One of my favorite things is when I show him new clothes he lights up and squeals. I guess he did learn that from me :) Maybe I can catch that on video so everyone can enjoy a great laugh.
