July 4th Party

July's almost over, but we have had a few cul-de-sac parties. It all started on July 1st (my birthday) and we finally had our 4th of July celebration on July 3rd (funny I know). It was hotter than you-know-what outside so the festivities began late in the afternoon. Alex cooked for us and we had plenty of food and drinks. We all did miss Marc, but as you can see, we made up for him.

We have agreed Alex is having a harder time without Marc than I am.

Amy makes sure we're all doing our part to help Mother Earth! This one's just for you Marc-o.

Later, Alex again does his weekly duties and mows our lawns while our husbands are out of town. It's gotta be hard being the only male taking care of 3 women all summer! I think Marc & Jeff have a lot to make up for when they get home.

Charlie is begging for some relief from the heat.....and from his mop that needs a slight trim!
